The selection has been improved thanks to the micrografting carried out in 1987 at the CRA-ACM in Acireale, it has some particular characteristics of the variety and its orange-yellow skin.

Surface: finely papillate. Shape: spheroidal - ellipsoidal.

Average weight: 210 – 230 g.

Thickness of the skin: medium-thin.

Flesh color: intense orange that changes in intensity according to the degree of ripeness, in fact in our area there is a very special microclimate that makes the red pigmentation and an aroma of strawberry , the ripening goes from December to March.
